  • What Grille Guard Fits My 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 with the New Body Style?
  • Thanks so much for the photo. As far as mounting brackets for your Ranch Hand grill guard, we unfortunately do not carry Ranch Hand products. Even if we did, purchasing replacement mounting brackets for grille guards are difficult if the grille guard was not made to fit your 2007.5 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. Since most manufacturers make vehicle-specific hardware for each year/make/model of truck, the grille guard model as well as the mounting brackets must be manufactured with the vehicle's...

  • Troubleshooting Brake Controller that Applies Trailer Brakes all the Time
  • Sounds like you have a short to the red wire of the brake controller. This circuit is supposed to only see voltage when the brakes are applied. If this circuit has voltage all the time it's going to tell the controller to be constantly applying the brakes. If you test the circuit and it doesn't have voltage all the time the issue then would be a bad brake controller. For a brake controller replacement I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling...

  • Derale Transmission Cooler Fit for 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3L
  • Transmission and oil coolers are not vehicle-specific. A transmission cooler can be installed in a vehicle so long as you have space to mount it in an appropriate location where it will receive proper air flow. You are correct that we do not show the 5.3L option among the engines offered for your 2007 Silverado. I checked our performance tuner applications and indeed the 5.3L appears there so it is likely just an oversight. My contact at Derale confirmed they know of no reason cooler...

  • Recommended Rails and Mounting Kit for a Lil Rocker on a 2007 Chevy Silverado New Body 6.5ft Bed
  • Yes. The RBW Lil Rocker 5th wheel hitch fits in industry standard above the bed rails. I recommend the rails included with Reese installation mounting kit # RP50064-58, this will work great for your 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 6-1/2ft bed truck. The rails and mounting kit you were looking at # RP30035 will also fit but requires drilling where the one I've recommended does not. I have linked both parts to this page for your convenience.

  • Curt Class III Trailer Hitch that Fits 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 New Body
  • The Curt hitch part # 13339 that you referenced is not a confirmed fit for your 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 New Body so for a similar hitch that does fit you'd want the part # 13301. The # 13339 that you referenced fits the higher payload versions of your truck that also have a deep drop bumper.

  • Installing Curt Brake Controller on 2007 Chevy Silverado New Body
  • It sounds like you have the correct harness for your Curt Venturer Brake Controller # C74VV and your 2007 Chevy Silverado, which is the Wiring Adapter Harness # C51515. This particular harness does feature a plug on one end that connects to the brake controller itself but as you mentioned the other end features bare wires. This is because the 2007 Chevy Silverado should have bare brake controller wiring, not a plug, under the dash that these wires will connect to. It's possible that the...

  • What Kind Of Probes Are Needed When Installing The Edge Juice with Attitude CTS # EP21503
  • I spoke to my contact at Edge on the Edge Juice with Attitude CTS, part # EP21503, and he said you do not need a boost probe for this product. It will get that information from the engine control module of your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 6.6L Duramax Diesel LMM. The EGT (exhaust gas temperature) probe is included in the package and he said that on your Chevrolet 6.6L Duramax Diesel LMM it is not equipped with a pre-turbo EGT probe. It is however equipped with two EGT probes downstream from...

  • Are WeatherTech Rear Mud Flaps Available For a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado New Body
  • The rear mud flaps for the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado New Body would be the WeatherTech Mud Flaps - Rear Pair, part # WT120010. The rear mud flaps will not work on Dually vehicles. • Fifth Wheel Hitch Options for a 2007 Chevy Silverado with a 7 ft Bed
  • If it is a 6-1/2 foot bed then you could use a hitch with a slider like the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Square Tube Slider # RP30051 that you referenced. You would slide the hitch into the rear most position when making tight turns, and then you would slide the hitch forward into tow mode once you got out of the parking lot. If you have a truck bed that is 6 foot or shorter you would have to get a Sidewinder pin box to allow you to make tight turns. You would still benefit from...

  • How To Install Trailer Brake Controller In 2007 Chevrolet Silverado New Body Style
  • I would be happy to help! On your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado New Body Style there will be four wires underneath the dash that the controller will get connected to, as that year truck did not include a factory trailer brake controller port. The four wires will be red, dark blue, light blue or orange, and white and will get connected to the trailer brake controller wiring harness as follows: Red factory wire will get connected to black wire of trailer brake controller harness Dark blue...

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2007 Chevy Silverado, 4.3L, V6
  • The most popular transmission cooler for a 2007 Chevy Silverado (New or Classic) with the 4.3 liter is cooler # D13503. This cooler measures 11 inches wide, 8-3/4 inches tall, and 7/8 inches deep. It is rated as a Class III which is what is recommended for vehicles with Class III trailer hitches. Metal lines are not an option but you could replace the rubber hose with metal lines obtained locally. However metal dissipates heat more quickly and easily than rubber so it might end up working...

  • Truck Tailgate Net for Fifth Wheel on 2007 Silverado 2500HD New Body
  • The Pilot Automotive tailgate net is a universal fit item and fits most newer pickups, from 1999 to the present. The tailgate net measures 61 inches wide. To confirm fit, I would recommend measuring your tailgate opening from latch plate to latch plate. If this distance is between 62 and 65 inches, the net should fit your truck. I have also linked you to the other available tailgates for your truck.

The linked page displays all bars/guards that are confirmed to fit on your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado New Body style pickup. You can use the drop-down Select Vehicle Style menu tool to see...

  • Does Sidewinder Pin Box Fit Fifth Wheel Trailer With Non-Removable Pin Box
  • Sidewinders require very specific fit applications on trailers. Basically you have to be able to remove the pin box on the trailer and it has to be a standard style of pin box so that you can pick out the correct one to fit in its place. There isn't a universal way to attach them to a trailer and if you have to cut your old one off to remove it that's a strong indicator that there isn't a way to install a Sidewinder on it.
